Back in my childhood, I was that kid who got mesmerized by the beauty of colours, I loved playing with colours, meanwhile painting used to be my best friends and colours were my siblings, my summers always went wondering about the nature's seven wonders
(VIBGYOR). From watching the morning glory till the sunset, they never left me alone. I loved to observe each and every changes occurring in nature, so when nature friendly environment left me I clinged on to fashion. That's when I moved to city everyone around had a different style which stated their occupations, their personality, that's when I was intrigued by fashion. Well, I fell in love with fashion. Now lets come to the point.
Chikankari embroidery has been my favourite since my school's farewell party, my friend had this wonderful white dress with chikankari embroidery on it and believe me since then I wanted to have one cloth with this particular embroidery. But it's better late than never, so I finally got one.
Chikankari is born out of an old embroidery technique from Lucknow, believed to be introduced by Nur Jahan, the wife of Mughal emperor Jahangir. The word chikankari or chikan itself means embroidery. It's subtle work is so mesmerizing, that my eyes can's get enough of it. Now that I bought this really cool sheer chikankari shrug of soft pink and didn't know what to do with it. Eventually, I thought why not make it Indo-western.
So I paired it with my basic white top and light blue ripped jeans. For accessories I kept it minimal only a silver oxidized necklace.

This look is perfect for a long road trip travel, gives a nomadic style with Indian twist.
